These terms cover your use of learn.michaelguay.dev (the "site") and its membership. The site is operated by NetTrack LLC, doing business as Michael Guay ("we", "us"). By creating an account or buying a membership, you agree to them.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email, or with Google or GitHub where offered. Keep access to that email secure: whoever can read it can sign in. One account is for one person.
The membership
- A membership gives you access to every course and lecture on the site for as long as it is active, including content added while you are a member.
- Memberships renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Payments are handled by Polar (polar.sh), who act as the seller and merchant of record: they process your card, charge any applicable sales tax or VAT, and send your receipts. Polar's own terms apply to the payment.
- If you joined on the original michaelguay.dev site, your existing subscription continues as it is, at the price you pay today.
Refunds
If the membership is not for you, you can get a full refund within 30 days of your first payment. Email support@michaelguay.dev from the email on your account.
Using the content
- The courses and lectures are for your own personal learning.
- Please don't share your account, or download, copy, resell or republish the videos, transcripts or other course material.
- Code you write while following a course is yours to use, including in your own and your employer's projects.
Changes and availability
We keep improving the site, and may add, update or retire content. We work to keep it available, but can't promise it will never be interrupted. If we change the price of a membership, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.
Ending your access
We may suspend accounts that break these terms, for example by sharing access or redistributing content. You can stop using the site and cancel at any time.
Liability
The courses are provided as they are, for educational purposes. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we will say so on the site or by email before they apply.
